It’s important to learn not be preoccupied with your pain, fear or discomfort, but simply to feel and accept it. 🌿 Fear and discomfort are fueled by your desire to get rid of them. If you truly accept them, relaxation follows and you start to let go.
Hi loves! Did you have an amazing weekend? Before leaving Ojai and the retreat I stopped by the town for some goodies at farmers market and some delicious bread from the baker @currygirlskitchen recommended 🥖 I’ve already finished half the loaf on my own 🙊 I always have the best conversations when I go to the market, anyone agree? 🤗
The coolest thing about my trip to Cozumel was that our room was right on the water. I loved having the ocean as our backyard for a week 🌊
I’ve been brainstorming more destinations for upcoming trips this year and keep finding myself coming back to places with warm weather and palm trees 🌴☀️
What’s your favorite tropical destination?
Two years ago I was 6 weeks pregnant and had just been released from a 3 day stint in the hospital after being diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum. Suffice it to say the struggle was real. Kyle tried to cheer me up by taking me on a mini- vacay to Barnsley Gardens. I managed to get in a facial without puking. Looking forward to the next Spring Break getaway with my partner in crime (and hopefully less vomit), though I’m going to miss my girl! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I think one of the best things I’ve come to understand for myself is that there is no such thing as normality. Normality is just subjective. There’s no sense in trying to live up to other people’s ideas of normal because their idea of normal is based on their taste, their aspirations and their fears. All of that has nothing to do with me. My version of those things is completely different for me, so why should I try and live up, conform or fit into someone else’s idea of what normal is.
It’s about you. What’s normal to you? What does happiness look like to you? What is wealth to you? What is success to you? What is failure to you?
Know those things, and then you’re less apt to look outside for the answers, because you’ve already answered them for yourself. You’re free to act, choose and be based on who you allow yourself to be."
When I was at the @miguel concert a few years ago, he spoke these words in between songs. I was at a point in my life career wise where I had all these aspirations, but was too riddled with fear because it was so far from what society deems "normal".
When he spoke those words, tears streamed down my cheeks. I knew in that moment that I wanted to make a change in my life.
He has inspired me so much over the years and last night I got to see him in action again. In a bigger venue. With more records to his name. More accolades. More people in the seats. It's incredible to watch someone succeed, and it pushes me to get outside my comfort zone and embrace the weird and wonderful.

"Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings."– Elizabeth Gilbert,

“Loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. Same world.” ― Wayne W. Dyer
✨Let the time fly by like the wind and open our hearts again. We were born to a world with dead ends. So talk to me as a friend. Limitation is only a word that’s keeping us on the ground. Oh gravity, when will you learn that I’m so much higher now✨
This Temple was truly amazing to see, out of respect I did not take photos inside though I would have loved to have captured the giant golden statues of Buddha. I was told if I am not a Buddhist I may take photos but it didn’t seem right. I see so many people taking photos in temples and mosques and other sacred places, disrespectful or? How do you feel about it?
I woke up with no plans for today and I'm loving it! I've moved from my bed to my sofa, watched Frasier, went to buy some groceries for dinner, enjoy the sunshine but can't feel my hands anymore, and now I'm back to the sofa, ready to spend the rest of the afternoon watching TV and drinking Te. I don't remember the last time I spent a Saturday at home! What did you do today?
Craving so many things for breakfast including croissants! 🥐🤤
Finishing my first 3-day juice cleanse from @velishco today! So proud that I made it through and my body is feeling really good! Don’t even know where to start on the different foods I want to eat after this!
What’s your absolute favourite dish? I LOVE Mac and cheese!

I finally made it to this beautiful city!🇬🇧❤️
Yesterday, I spent the whole day exploring Lincoln, one of Britain’s best small cities. Has anyone been?👀
✩ ✩ ✩
There are so many vintage shops, antique centres, crafts, gift and book shops, especially around historic Bailgate in Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter. I kept escaping the freezing cold and hiding in all the cafés and bookshops I found🏃🏻♀️❄️
Make sure you put this town on your list, if you’re planning to escape London for a weekend, at some time soon😉
