4 miles through the city of Dublin the morning to 1) keep up my training 2) see the city in a different light 👌🏼 Running is my favourite way to explore a new place -especially if it ends in an iced coffee ☕️ which mine most definitely did 🙌🏼 •

In my quest to empower women, I have found freedom in body positivity and self-love. For so long, I thought I was “safe” hiding my stretch marks, my cellulite, my extra jiggly puffs. After losing 137 lbs, I still felt prisoner. And then something magical happened. I fell in love with all these “ battle scars “ I acquired from fighting through body dysmorphia, pcos and bulimia. Now I am on a mission to inspire and motivate. To spread self-care awareness.

Happy Friday!♥️ My #TIUbootycall today was this ab routine and added 30 seconds of mountain climbers in between moves! Just recovered with protein pancakes topped with cacao nibs, apple slices and maple syrup 😍😍 Now I’m about to go on a 2 mile walk before start working 🙌 Tonight I have my ballet class as well! This is today’s menu:
•M1: protein pancakes & apple🍎
•M2: blueberry chia muffins from the #TIUbikiniseries plan 💕
•M3: spaguetti squash quiche from #TIUloveyourbody with a whole wheat toast and avo 🥑
•M4: banana with peanut butter before my class
•M5: leftovers from last night’s tray dinner (chicken, green beans and baked sweet potato)🥂

Yesterday was a much needed and very lazy rest day so I was excited to get back on it today. I love arm days because my arms are my strongest body part. A few years ago I was doing a lot of endurance swimming and my arms, shoulders and back were👌 I want to get back to that and build up the rest of my body to match 😄
Daily Moves ✅ 1 round using 2 x 3kg dumbbells and 1 round using 2 x 2kg dumbbells
Ultimate Flex Friyay ✅ used 2 x 1kg dumbbells for this. I had a few neck issues working out today and was glad of the frequent reminders to keep my traps down! Also loved chatting with the other girls in class 😙 Definitely what makes #StudioToneItUp work for me

I feel sometimes people really get the wrong impression when you say love yourself? Like your some sort of narcissistic being that only has eyes for themselves and doesn’t give two hoots about anyone else...
It’s not about being a bad person or self absorbed but when you’ve spent a good majority of your grown up life hating yourself, hating your body and not feeling good enough, why should you ever feel bad about loving yourself and doing things for you! 🤷🏼♀️
Last year I decided I was sick of doing things just for others and neglecting my own happiness, honestly for me it was a really rough and down place 👎🏼
So back in 2017 I was like no it’s time to DO YOU! Stop trying to constantly please others when they won’t do the same for you, and in that I learnt so much about everyone around me and more importantly myself! 🤔
I went from being someone who couldn’t be alone I hated my own company to someone who loves nothing more than just being in her own singing along to songs and just being in my own company! 🙌🏼
In loving myself I found inner peace and found ME AGAIN 💕 .
And if loving myself and taking pictures of myself is being a narcissist to you... then hey that’s what I am 😼🖕🏼 "

Theses baked sweet potato chips seem to be a thing for @fabtastic_ and I. Good news, bad news, no news we seem to always land at this comer cafe on a Thursday. It seems to have become an unspoken/unwritten tradition. The company, the convo, the chips — all bomb 🔥!!!
Breakfast: omelette with roasted potatoes on side

Finally home sweet home after a few days of being away. As much as I love going places and seeing new things, I definitely feel my best when I'm grounded and in my routine. I like to allow myself to indulge while on vacation but I certainly feel the consequences afterwards (sluggish, irritable and anxious). Luckily it only takes me a day or so to get back to feeling like my normal self again. I thought I would share the very simple steps I take to get back on track.
WATER, this is a given but it's so so important. I try to drink a gallon of water on those days when I'm hungover on sugar. Bonus points if you add a squeeze of lemon.
Sweating it out in a sauna/hot yoga class. This really helps to speed up the detox process.
Eating tons and tons of greens or making a big green juice with celery, cucumber, lemon, ginger and spinach. Also doing my best to keep sugar consumption really low.
Grounding and meditation really help me to get back into my own thoughts and feelings. Going for a walk outside, burning palo santo, diffusing essentials oils, light stretching and listening to calming music all helps me feel more grounded.
Most importantly, being kind to myself and never allowing myself to feel guilty for indulging in LIFE
I just wanted to pop in and remind you guys that NO ONE can steal your joy. There will always be people and situations that sometimes feel impossible not to react to (the person who cuts you off in traffic, an angry customer at work, friends that judge your lifestyle). It's a daily practice not to allow those people and situations to dictate our emotions. When I feel anger and frustration coming on I try to take a step back, take a deep breath and find a way to approach the situation from a place of kindness and understanding for the other person. It's not easy, but it's possible and it's a whole lot better for the soul💕 Have a wonderful day friends!

I've got a spring in mah step 👣with this spring-like weather 🌷... or maybe just this week! 💕I'm feeling extra grateful for my health 👌🏼, happiness ☺️and the little things in life... like the groutfit I wore all day and my surprise afternoon stroll with @abbysfoodcourt! 👯
I'm off to do more wedding thaaangs, but definitely eating these leftovers 👆🏼because my Dijon Salmon is my new favorite recipe and I'm into allll the good fats these days! 😍
