More castle! At the front of the castles roof, this small part of copper roofing built in the 19th century has developed such a degree of verdigris, it genuinely looks like it's turquois paint on woodpanels. I really love it as it's such an unexpected splash of colour. I'll have to get up there again soon to get a nice shot of a sweet little nymph on the brass doorknob. You can't see them in this shot, but I was up there with 20 other people and sometimes the got in the way a little (because there is just no space up there)

I’m waiting for my EAS date like these men wait for their train... eagerly.
Just something to make you feel better as you get ready for work this #Tuesday morning. Arguably the most famous image of #Iran, Masjed e Nasir ol Molk, also called the Pink Mosque, is best visited just after #sunrise, when the #golden rays of the Shiraz sun stream in through the stained-glass #windows and create a kaleidoscope of way more #colours than pink. But that's a secret everyone knows now, so it's crowded even at 7 am. Totally worth battling, we'd say. So what's on your #bucketlist?
