On this day in 1999, The Roots released their 4th album, Things Fall Apart. It’s their only album to go platinum and widely considered their best album.
Upon its initial release, Things Fall Apart was made available with a choice of five different album covers for a limited time. The most notable cover depicted a pair of black children fleeing from riot police in Brooklyn during the civil rights era.
Kenny Gravillis, the credited designer for the album covers indicated that The Roots’ original idea for the cover was “an illustration of The Roots with Diddy (Puffy Combs back then) at the bottom of the ocean.”
After listening to the album and convincing the crew to explore less scathing options for the cover art, Gravillis researched historical stock images at Bettman Archives, ultimately proposing twenty different selections to the group.
While the cover many of us have come to associate with the album was the winner, The Roots loved the images so much that they decided to use an additional four for the limited edition run, thus making for one of the more unique and meaningful album cover stories in Hip-Hop.

"You always want to have" is a phrase most often repeated by people trying to make a point that they not satisfied what they already have. They are trying to get more.
After all, if they're just looking to the next attractive shoes, can not miss them ... because they are right in front of eyes ... every such story ever teaches.
Those people are wrong, at least to some extent. It's not actually the achievement of goal, it's just the desire to find comfortable shoes. Have might actually, wanting better shoes, you are unhappy with what you already have.
When you're become more experienced, you find ways to see what you need at first sight. Until then, you simply ignore all rationality and buy different shoes, because you no likes to hear "I do no advise you". But why? Because once your brain latches onto that urge, it's hard to get it to let go... when you are told "You can't need" just makes much more desirable.
Then learning consequences from your purchasing you are gaining wisdom but it will be after walking. As you understand, your need to explore and understand the world of shoes around you.
It's what makes you choose shoe for ourselves and guides to new discoveries in quality aspects. Curiosity is the single part of the human brain that propels you forward.
#TBT clips I never posted of me and my brother @jarrettvaranyak. It’s still crazy to me that he didn’t start riding until AFTER Highschool and developed his effortless style in such a short period of time. Blows my mind how he can casually film lines like this in a couple try’s.
