Standing with our leader & U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein. Dianne delivers for #California, actually gets things done in this awful Congress, & makes us proud. We need Dianne fighting for us in Washington.
The Golden Gate Bridge is one of those places that will never be done justice through a photograph.🌎 The size and beauty is unmistakeable and remarkable. ✨If you’re in San Fran, don’t miss this place.📍 Also, looking at the thousands of cars driving across the bridge ever day really got Britany and I thinking about how much goes in throughout the world. 🙈More so, we have infinite opportunities and doors to explore. It’s a beautiful thought. Go out and get yours! ❤️
Southern California is having a winter crisis - it’s 47 at the moment 😐 so...made some apple 🍎 cider 🍩 donuts to warm the house up. 😉 Thank you @surlatable your apple cider donut mix is a hit with hubby!!! ❤️
I think it’s important to stress flying drones in National Parks is illegal.
99% of visitors to this beloved tree tunnel in Point Reyes National Seashore leave without ever realizing its home to an abundance of Northern Spotted Owls- a species labeled “threatened” by our government. They prosper here because we’ve safely protected these lands since the trees were planted 88 years ago. Note: these situations exist in just about every park- that’s why we protect them.
Yet, i’ve seen multiple drone videos from creators I admire, capturing surreal moments that i have a hard time embracing. I’ve witnessed multiple “new pilots” imitating what they’ve seen and claiming to not know it’s illegal. I’ve reminded multiple pilots around the United States parks as to why, and it frustrates that we choose to abuse our privileges in our most safeguarded places (for a picture?) I love photography, i love drones and i understand how tempting new perspectives are- but I don’t love threatening the life and beauty that makes this an art in the first place. Please educate each other.
If you set pictures aside and allow your senses to activate, you’ll hear their quiet hoots above, their pellets on the ground and randomly, a flight for an evening hunt.
