A huge game against Barcelona today, we need to put a shift in and try and grind out a result. We’ve got the talent to win, we just need to apply ourselves!
I’m also very surprised about the starting 11 to face Barca. We usually play a 5-3-2 formation against the bigger teams to strengthen up the midfield, however, today we’ve opted with a 5-2-3 style of play without a central striker... I’m assuming this is tactical but is slightly worrying as when we’ve played this system, it has faulted before. Anyways, let’s focus on the game; let’s go blues!💙
Made Gambas al Ajillo for my Dad on Sunday. They’re so simple and so delicious:
Heat olive oil over a medium heat in a thick pan (I used cast iron), throw in chilli flakes and sauté for a good while- you really want the oil to take on the flavour. Throw in what feels like *way* too much garlic, a healthy pinch of paprika, and sauté until fragrant. Throw in the prawns, a dash of white wine or sherry, a pinch of salt, and cook until prawns are opaque. Serve with grilled garlic bread to sop up all that beautiful oil.
